The Department of General Science was founded in 2012 and follows the curriculum of MSBTE, Mumbai It inculcates basic knowledge in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry and English which is the foundation of engineering education. We are having highly equipped laboratories of Chemistry, Physics, Computer, Language lab. Also the department comprises of highly qualified, experienced and goal oriented members with specialization in various fields. Besides OUTCOME BASED EDUCATION, the department inculcates VALUE BASED EDUCATION. The department provides a language lab for the students enrich communication competence. It also aims to maintain good linguistic proficiency through accuracy in grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary.
Welcome to the department of General Science at Fabtech Technical Campus College of Engineering and Research Polytechnic, Sangola. The department works with the objective of addressing critical challenges faced by the Industry, society and the academia. Perhaps even more important is our unceasing commitment to our students, helping them to learn, grow, develop, and achieve their goals in their pursuit to excel in their professional career.
Department of General Science is one of the largest department in Fabtech Technical Campus College of Engineering & Research polytechnic, Sangola College with nearly 9 well experienced and highly qualified faculty members
The department faculty work with excellent team spirit in different technical team like Engineering Chemistry, Engineering Physics, Computer Engineering, Applied Mechanics, communication Skills, Engineering Mathematics, C Programming, Engineering Graphics etc. which leads to key research publications in these areas. The department strives to provide a conductive environment for the students to develop analytical and practical skills and apply them to real world problems. To motivate the students the department organizes regular training in state of art software & hardware, arranges workshop, technical events, seminars & industrial visit, Cultural activities are also promoted through various clubs at the departmental and MSBTE level
The growth of expertise in the department is commendable. In keeping with the department’s vision, the holistic development of the students is focused upon that instills a habit of continued learning and a sense of responsibility in them to contribute towards the betterment of the society.
